I stepped off a wall with a five foot drop,un prepared for the drop. Lots of pain unable to weight bear and very swollen knee. Xray thought there was a possible tpf. 2nd doc said not. Sent for mri -torn cruciate ligament and suspected tpf, need a ct scan. Dr who i saw to do the ct referral said it isnt fractured on basis of how i was sat!! He said mri is showing something which isnt there. Waiting two weeks now for ct. Do you think it is a tpf? I can guage what pain could be this and whats my ACL tear? What could i do to help myself while i await the scan?
    thanks

      Sally,

Look at TPF images online. If you have a break, you should be getting immediate attention because you need to heal or have surgery. Until you find out, use caution moving.

      Good healing,
