Hi all, i suffered a tpf on the 25th of march whilst jumping hurdles during training, was operated on the next day ( 1 plate, 5 screws and a bone graft). I was told by many doctors and even some friends to forget all about running or physical activity altogether. I was so distraugt and used to have moments of uncontrollable sobbing. However i have an excellent physio who has been guiding me all the way and yesterday 12 weeks into it i cycled on a stationary bike at the gym for 45 mins!!! Im still on crutches and a small brace but it feels so good being back to some form of activity. So please dont ever give up, i honestly thought this was the end for me, surround yourselves with positive ppl and work hard for those results.
